A 10-day beach holiday in Lloret de Mar for your group, with 7 nights on the Costa Brava, Tossa de Mar, Girona and Barcelona as an option.
On the Costa Brava, Lloret de Mar lines up its sandy beaches between rocky coves and pine forests, about 70 kilometres north of Barcelona. Your group enjoys long days of beach and strolling, on a half-board or full-board basis in a hotel near the sea. The excursions lead to the medieval ramparts of Tossa de Mar and the colourful houses of Girona and, on request, as far as Barcelona. The journey is made overnight with two drivers on board, or with an overnight stop in France on the way there and back.
Programme
Day 1 : Departure for the Costa Brava
- Late afternoon departure from the location of your choice.
- Overnight drive to Spain with two drivers on board (double crew), with regular stops.
- Option with an overnight stop in France on the way there and back, in the Lyon area (on request).
Day 2 : Arrival in Lloret de Mar
- Through Catalonia and arrival in Lloret de Mar in the morning.
- Check-in for 7 nights at a 3-star hotel near the beach, half board (full board on request).
- A relaxing afternoon on the beach and a first walk along the seafront.
- Dinner at the hotel.
Day 3 : Lloret de Mar and its gardens
- Free morning on the beach.
- Walk along the coastal path to the Castell d'en Plaja and the statue of the Dona Marinera, facing the sea.
- Visit to the Santa Clotilde Gardens, terraced gardens above the sea (on request).
- Dinner at the hotel.
Day 4 : Tossa de Mar
- Short coach drive to Tossa de Mar.
- Discovery of the Vila Vella, the old town surrounded by medieval ramparts and towers overlooking the bay.
- Return by boat along the coast to Lloret de Mar (on request).
- Free afternoon on the beach.
Day 5 : Free day in Lloret de Mar
- Free day on the beach and on the promenade (rest day for the driver).
- Free time in the shopping lanes of the centre and at the market.
Day 6 : Barcelona or a day on the beach
- Day trip to Barcelona with a local guide: the Gothic Quarter, the Rambla and the Sagrada Família seen from outside (on request).
- Visit inside the Basilica of the Sagrada Família (on request).
- For groups who prefer to stay put, a free day in Lloret de Mar.
Day 7 : Girona
- Drive to Girona, the provincial capital.
- Walk through the old town: the colourful houses on the banks of the Onyar, the old Jewish quarter of the Call and the Cathedral of Saint Mary.
- Guided tour of the old town of Girona (on request).
- Return to Lloret de Mar in the late afternoon.
Day 8 : Last day by the sea
- Free day on the beach and on the promenade.
- Farewell dinner at the hotel.
Day 9 : Return journey
- Breakfast at the hotel and departure in the late morning.
- Return journey with two drivers on board, with regular stops.
Day 10 : Arrival in Belgium
- Arrival in your region in the morning.
