A 12-day beach holiday in Benidorm for your group, with 9 nights on the Costa Blanca, Altea, Guadalest, Alicante and Valencia as an option.
On the Costa Blanca, Benidorm offers two large sandy beaches, Levante and Poniente, separated by its old town and its viewpoint over the Mediterranean. Your group enjoys nine nights there, alternating beach, strolls and excursions, on a half-board or full-board basis in a hotel near the sea. The outings lead to the white village of Altea, the eagle's nest of Guadalest and Alicante, with a day in Valencia as an option. The long journey is made with two drivers on board and an overnight stop in the south of France, on the way there and back.
Programme
Day 1 : Journey to the south of France
- Early morning departure from the location of your choice, with two drivers on board (double crew).
- Drive through Luxembourg, Burgundy and the Rhône valley, with regular stops.
- Overnight stop at a hotel in the Montpellier area, dinner at the hotel.
Day 2 : Arrival in Benidorm
- Breakfast and drive through Catalonia and along the Valencian coast, with regular stops.
- Arrival in Benidorm in the late afternoon.
- Check-in for 9 nights at a 3-star hotel near the beach, half board (full board on request).
- Dinner at the hotel.
Day 3 : Benidorm, between two beaches
- Free morning on the beach.
- Walk through the old town to the Balcón del Mediterráneo, a viewpoint between Levante beach and Poniente beach.
- Free late afternoon on the promenade.
- Dinner at the hotel.
Day 4 : Altea
- Short drive to Altea.
- Climb through the old town with its white houses to the Church of Nuestra Señora del Consuelo and its blue domes.
- Free time in the craftsmen's lanes and return to Benidorm for the afternoon on the beach.
Day 5 : Free day in Benidorm
- Free day on the beach and on the promenade (rest day for the driver).
- Boat crossing to Benidorm Island (on request).
Day 6 : Guadalest
- Drive into the mountainous hinterland to Guadalest.
- Discovery of the hilltop village, reached through a tunnel carved into the rock, and view over the reservoir.
- Visit to Guadalest Castle and the Casa Orduña (on request).
- Return to Benidorm and a free late afternoon on the beach.
Day 7 : Free day in Benidorm
- Free day on the beach and on the promenade.
- Dinner at the hotel.
Day 8 : Alicante
- Drive to Alicante.
- Walk along the mosaic-paved Explanada de España and along the marina.
- Lift ride up to Santa Bárbara Castle, on Mount Benacantil (on request).
- Free afternoon in the centre and return to Benidorm.
Day 9 : Valencia or a day on the beach
- Day trip to Valencia with a local guide: the cathedral, the Lonja de la Seda, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Central Market and the City of Arts and Sciences (on request).
- For groups who prefer to stay put, a free day in Benidorm (rest day for the driver).
Day 10 : Last day by the sea
- Free day on the beach and on the promenade.
- Farewell dinner at the hotel.
Day 11 : Journey to the south of France
- Breakfast and departure from Benidorm.
- Drive to France, with regular stops.
- Overnight stop at a hotel in the Montpellier area, dinner at the hotel.
Day 12 : Return to Belgium
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Return journey through the Rhône valley and Burgundy, with regular stops.
- Arrival back in your region in the evening.
