A 9-day stay in Alassio for your group: 6 nights on the Ligurian Riviera, Albenga, Finalborgo, Sanremo and the Toirano caves.
On the western Ligurian Riviera, Alassio unrolls a bay of fine sand sheltered by hills, between palm trees and warm-coloured houses. Its pedestrian street, the “budello”, leads to the famous “muretto”, a wall covered with ceramic tiles signed by artists and celebrities. Your group also discovers Albenga and its medieval towers, Finalborgo, a fortified village listed among the most beautiful villages in Italy, Sanremo on the Riviera of Flowers and the Toirano caves. The stay includes 6 nights on half board, with a free day by the sea. Associations, clubs, societies or groups of friends from 20 participants, departing from the place of your choice.
Programme
Day 1: Departure from Belgium
- Departure in the late afternoon from the place of your choice.
- Overnight journey to Italy with two drivers on board (double crew): no more than 3 hours of driving, then a 30-minute break.
- Alternative with an overnight stop on the way, outbound and return (on request).
Day 2: Arrival in Alassio
- Arrival in the late morning and check-in at a 3-star hotel near the beach for 6 nights, on a half-board basis.
- Free afternoon to rest after the journey and discover the beach.
- Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: Alassio and Laigueglia
- Walk along the “budello”, the pedestrian street of the old town, to the “muretto” and its signed ceramic tiles.
- Stroll along the sea to the fishing village of Laigueglia.
- Free afternoon at the beach.
Day 4: Albenga and Finalborgo
- Drive to Albenga (about 15 minutes): the old town with its medieval towers, the cathedral and the early Christian baptistery.
- Guided tour of Albenga and its baptistery (on request).
- In the afternoon, Finalborgo, a fortified village listed among the most beautiful villages in Italy.
- Return to Alassio in the late afternoon.
Day 5: Free day in Alassio
- Free day for the beach, the seafront promenade or the old town, at your own pace (drivers’ rest day, no coach).
Day 6: Sanremo, Riviera of Flowers
- Drive to Sanremo along the coast (about 1 hour).
- Discovery of the centre: the casino, the Russian Orthodox church and the old town of La Pigna.
- Free time on the seafront, then return to Alassio.
Day 7: The Toirano caves
- Free morning in Alassio.
- In the afternoon, drive to Toirano (about 30 minutes).
- Visit to the Toirano caves, with their stalactites and prehistoric traces (on request).
- Last evening at the hotel.
Day 8: Journey home
- Breakfast at the hotel and check-out.
- Departure in the late morning and overnight journey with a double crew, with a break of at least 30 minutes every 3 hours of driving.
Day 9: Back in Belgium
- Arrival in your home area in the morning.

Good to know
- Departure and return times are adapted to your group’s pick-up point; bring a small pillow and comfortable clothes for the overnight journey.

- The Toirano caves stay cool all year round: bring a light sweater.
- Swimwear, towel, sun cream and walking shoes; stays possible from May to September, currency: euro.
