A 10-day beach holiday at the Lido di Jesolo for your group, with 7 nights facing the Adriatic, a day in Venice and the islands of Murano and Burano as an option.
On the edge of the Venetian Lagoon, the Lido di Jesolo stretches its fine sandy beach over some fifteen kilometres. Your group enjoys a week of beach and strolling, on a half-board or full-board basis in a hotel near the sea. The coach takes you to the Punta Sabbioni landing stage, from where St Mark's Square is reached by boat and, on request, the islands of Murano and Burano. An overnight stop in Bavaria, on the way there and back, makes the journey more comfortable.
Programme
Day 1 : Journey to Bavaria
- Early morning departure from the location of your choice.
- Drive through Germany, with regular stops.
- Overnight stop at a hotel in the Munich area, dinner at the hotel.
Day 2 : Over the Brenner to Jesolo
- Breakfast and drive through the Tyrol, over the Brenner Pass and down the Adige valley, with regular stops.
- Arrival at the Lido di Jesolo in the late afternoon.
- Check-in for 7 nights at a 3-star hotel near the beach, half board (full board on request).
- Dinner at the hotel.
Day 3 : Jesolo, beach and promenade
- Free morning on the long beach of fine sand.
- Walk along Via Bafile, one of the longest pedestrian streets in Europe, lined with shops and cafés.
- Dinner at the hotel.
Day 4 : Venice
- Coach drive to the Punta Sabbioni landing stage.
- Boat crossing to St Mark's Square (on request).
- Guided walking tour of Venice: St Mark's Square, the Bridge of Sighs and the Rialto (on request).
- Visit to the Doge's Palace (on request).
- Free time in the lanes and along the canals, then return by boat and coach.
Day 5 : Free day in Jesolo
- Free day on the beach and on the promenade (rest day for the driver).
Day 6 : Murano and Burano or a day on the beach
- Private boat excursion to the islands of the lagoon: Murano and its glassmakers, Burano and its colourful houses (on request).
- Glass-blowing demonstration in a Murano workshop (on request).
- For groups who prefer to stay put, a free day in Jesolo.
Day 7 : Free day in Jesolo
- Free day on the beach and on the promenade.
- Dinner at the hotel.
Day 8 : Last day by the sea
- Free day on the beach and some last-minute shopping on Via Bafile.
- Farewell dinner at the hotel.
Day 9 : Journey to Bavaria
- Breakfast and departure from Jesolo.
- Drive over the Brenner and through the Tyrol, with regular stops.
- Overnight stop at a hotel in the Munich area, dinner at the hotel.
Day 10 : Return to Belgium
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Return journey through Germany, with regular stops.
- Arrival back in your region in the evening.
