A 10-day beach holiday in Rimini for your group, with 7 nights on the Adriatic Riviera, San Marino, Ravenna, San Leo and Riccione.

Along the Adriatic coast, Rimini unrolls some fifteen kilometres of fine sandy beach in front of a town that still has the Arch of Augustus and the Bridge of Tiberius. Your group enjoys a week of beach and strolling, on a half-board or full-board basis in a hotel near the sea. The excursions lead to the Republic of San Marino and the mosaics of Ravenna, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites, then to the fortress of San Leo and to Riccione. The journey is made overnight with two drivers on board, or with an overnight stop in Switzerland on the way there and back.

Programme

Day 1 : Departure for Italy

  • Late afternoon departure from the location of your choice.
  • Overnight drive through Switzerland and the Gotthard Tunnel with two drivers on board (double crew), with regular stops.
  • Option with an overnight stop in Switzerland, in the Lucerne area, on the way there and back (on request).

Day 2 : Arrival in Rimini

  • Across the Po Valley and arrival in Rimini in the late morning.
  • Check-in for 7 nights at a 3-star hotel near the beach, half board (full board on request).
  • A relaxing afternoon on the beach.
  • Dinner at the hotel.

Day 3 : Rimini, from Antiquity to the beach

  • Walk through the historic centre: the Arch of Augustus, the Bridge of Tiberius and the Tempio Malatestiano.
  • Guided tour of the historic centre of Rimini (on request).
  • Free afternoon on the beach and on the seafront.

Day 4 : San Marino

  • Drive to the Republic of San Marino, perched on Mount Titano.
  • Walk through the historic centre, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, up to the Guaita and Cesta towers.
  • Free time in the shopping streets and return to Rimini in the late afternoon.

Day 5 : Free day in Rimini

  • Free day on the beach and on the promenade (rest day for the driver).
  • Free time at the market and in the pedestrian streets of the centre.

Day 6 : Ravenna and its mosaics

  • Drive to Ravenna, former capital of the Western Roman Empire.
  • Guided tour of the Early Christian monuments, a UNESCO World Heritage Site: the Basilica of San Vitale, the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia and Sant'Apollinare Nuovo (on request).
  • A stop in front of Dante's tomb.
  • Return to Rimini and a free late afternoon.

Day 7 : San Leo and Riccione

  • Drive to San Leo, a village dominated by its fortress on a rocky spur.
  • Visit to the fortress of San Leo, where Count Cagliostro died (on request).
  • In the afternoon, Riccione and its Viale Ceccarini, an elegant shopping street.
  • Return to Rimini.

Day 8 : Last day by the sea

  • Free day on the beach and on the promenade.
  • Farewell dinner at the hotel.

Day 9 : Return journey

  • Breakfast at the hotel and departure in the late morning.
  • Return journey with two drivers on board, with regular stops.

Day 10 : Arrival in Belgium

  • Arrival in your region in the morning.

  • Swimwear, a towel, sun cream and comfortable shoes for San Marino and San Leo; clothing covering the shoulders in the churches of Ravenna; currency: the euro.

Cancellation and refund protection

Optional, to be taken when booking: you can cancel without giving a reason and get the base price of the trip back, provided your request reaches us at least 48 hours before departure for a day trip, 7 days before if admission tickets are included, 14 days before for a trip with overnight stays. Price: 7 % of the trip up to €1,000, 5 % from €1,001 to €2,500, 3.5 % above.
