Two gentle days in the Grand Duchy: Luxembourg City’s Winterlights in the evening, then the Mondorf-les-Bains thermal spa.

This short break combines the magic of Christmas with well-being, without a long drive. Your group arrives in Luxembourg City in the early afternoon, explores the old town at its own pace, then enjoys the Winterlights at nightfall, when the stalls on the Place d’Armes and the big wheel on the Place de la Constitution light up. After a night at the hotel and a good breakfast, the coach takes you to Mondorf-les-Bains, Luxembourg’s only spa town, near the Moselle. Everyone chooses between a session in the warm thermal pools and a stroll in the large park. A restful break, ideal for an end-of-year outing.

Programme

Day 1: Luxembourg City and the Winterlights

  • Morning departure from the place of your choice.
  • Drive to Luxembourg, with a coffee break on the way (our drivers drive for 3 hours at most, then take a 30-minute break).
  • Seated lunch in a restaurant in Luxembourg City (on request).
  • Guided tour of the old town: Grand Ducal Palace, Notre-Dame Cathedral and the Chemin de la Corniche (on request).
  • In the late afternoon, free time at the Winterlights, Place d’Armes and Place de la Constitution.
  • Check-in at the hotel in the Luxembourg area, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Mondorf-les-Bains and return

  • Breakfast at the hotel, then a short drive to Mondorf-les-Bains.
  • Session in the thermal pools of the spa complex (on request).
  • Gentle stroll in the spa park.
  • Seated lunch in the Luxembourg Moselle area (on request).
  • Departure in the early afternoon and return to your region in the evening.

Good to know

  • A valid identity card is required for each participant; departure and return times are adapted to your group’s pick-up point.
  • Walking level: easy (flat pedestrian centres; some cobblestones and gentle slopes in Luxembourg City).
  • Wheelchair users or guests with reduced mobility: please let us know when booking so that we can adapt the programme. As you travel abroad, bring your usual medication and your European Health Insurance Card (EHIC).
  • Christmas markets run from late November to late December, to be checked depending on the year; bring warm clothing.

Cancellation and refund protection

Optional, to be taken when booking: you can cancel without giving a reason and get the base price of the trip back, provided your request reaches us at least 48 hours before departure for a day trip, 7 days before if admission tickets are included, 14 days before for a trip with overnight stays. Price: 7 % of the trip up to €1,000, 5 % from €1,001 to €2,500, 3.5 % above.
