The Liège Christmas Village as a group: stalls on Place Saint-Lambert and Place du Marché, pékèt and local specialities.
The Liège Christmas Village is one of the oldest and largest Christmas markets in Belgium. Its chalets line Place Saint-Lambert, facing the imposing Palace of the Prince-Bishops, and continue to Place du Marché, around the Perron, the symbol of the city’s freedoms. Between stalls, visitors taste pékèt, the local gin served in small glasses and flavoured in countless ways, Liège waffles and “boulets”, meatballs in a sweet and sour sauce. The bravest climb the 374 steps of the Montagne de Bueren for a view over the city before strolling along Rue Hors-Château. Clubs, associations or groups of friends from 20 participants: departure from the place of your choice and a day at your own pace.
