Winter Wonders as a group: the Grand Place tree and light show, the Sainte-Catherine stalls and the big wheel, by coach.

Every winter the heart of Brussels turns into one long festive trail: Winter Wonders (Plaisirs d’Hiver). On the UNESCO-listed Grand Place, a tall Christmas tree and a nativity scene stand before the Town Hall, whose Gothic façade comes alive in the evening with a sound and light show. From the Stock Exchange to the Fish Market and Place Sainte-Catherine, a long line of wooden stalls offers crafts, mulled wine, waffles and shrimp croquettes beneath a big wheel. Clubs, associations, committees or groups of friends from 20 participants: your coach picks you up wherever you choose, and we shape the day with you, from guided tours to a reserved lunch or simply free time.

Good to know

  • A valid identity card is required for every participant; departure and return times are adapted to your group’s pick-up point.
  • Winter Wonders runs from late November to late December (often into early January): dates to be checked each year; it gets very busy at weekends.
  • Bring warm clothes and good shoes; a meeting point and time at the coach are agreed with the driver.

Cancellation and refund protection

Optional, to be taken when booking: you can cancel without giving a reason and get the base price of the trip back, provided your request reaches us at least 48 hours before departure for a day trip, 7 days before if admission tickets are included, 14 days before for a trip with overnight stays. Price: 7 % of the trip up to €1,000, 5 % from €1,001 to €2,500, 3.5 % above.
