Bruges at Christmas as a group: stalls on the Markt and Simon Stevinplein, the Belfry, canals and medieval lanes, by coach.

With its canals, gabled houses and UNESCO-listed historic centre, Bruges seems made for Christmas. The market stalls line the Markt, at the foot of the Belfry and its halls, as well as the quieter Simon Stevinplein. Your group then strolls to the Burg, home to the Gothic Town Hall and the Basilica of the Holy Blood, and along the quays to the Beguinage and the Minnewater lake. Hot chocolate, pralines and lace round off a day enjoyed on foot, at the pace of the city. Clubs, associations or groups of friends from 20 participants: departure from the place of your choice and a programme tailored to your wishes.

Good to know

  • A valid identity card is required for every participant; departure and return times are adapted to your group’s pick-up point.
  • The Christmas market runs from late November to late December (sometimes into early January): dates to be checked each year; boats may not run in very cold weather.
  • The centre is explored on foot, often on cobblestones: bring warm clothes and comfortable shoes.

Cancellation and refund protection

Optional, to be taken when booking: you can cancel without giving a reason and get the base price of the trip back, provided your request reaches us at least 48 hours before departure for a day trip, 7 days before if admission tickets are included, 14 days before for a trip with overnight stays. Price: 7 % of the trip up to €1,000, 5 % from €1,001 to €2,500, 3.5 % above.
