Durbuy at Christmas as a group: the illuminated “smallest town in the world”, its market, stone lanes and artisan treats.
Nestled in a bend of the Ourthe, Durbuy proudly calls itself the “smallest town in the world”, a title it owes to the town rights it was granted in the Middle Ages. At Christmas, its cobbled lanes and blue-stone houses light up, while the castle of the Counts of Ursel watches over the rooftops. Your group strolls among the market stalls, meets local craftspeople and tastes jams, chocolates and mulled wine. Across the river, the striking Falize rock shows layers of stone folded like a wave, a remarkable geological sight. Clubs, associations or groups of friends from 20 participants: departure from the place of your choice for a gentle, convivial day.
