Seven days on the Baltic coast: the shifting dunes of Słowiński National Park, Gdańsk and the Teutonic castle of Malbork.

This tour explores Pomerania, the coastal region of northern Poland, with an overnight stop in Germany on the way out and back for a gentler pace. In Słowiński National Park, a UNESCO biosphere reserve, pupils walk on shifting sand dunes that move several metres a year, between the sea and the coastal lakes: a life-size geography lesson. In Gdańsk, a former Hanseatic port, they follow the Royal Route to the Neptune Fountain and can discover the shipyard where the Solidarity trade union was born in 1980. Malbork Castle, former seat of the Teutonic Order, is the largest brick castle in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This tour suits geography, science and history classes, from age 10 to secondary school.
