Black Forest and Lake Constance for senior groups: Freiburg, Titisee, Triberg and Mainau Island (7 days)

Day 1: Journey to the Black Forest

• Morning departure from the place of your choice.
• Journey with regular breaks: our drivers drive for 3 hours at most, then take a 30-minute break.
• Lunch at a restaurant on the way (on request).
• Arrival in the Freiburg area in the late afternoon.
• Check-in at the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Freiburg im Breisgau

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Guided tour of Freiburg: cathedral, Cathedral Square and its market, Swabian Gate and the little canals (Bächle) (on request).
• Group lunch at a restaurant (on request).
• Cable car ride up the Schauinsland, a viewpoint over the Black Forest (on request).
• Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Titisee and Triberg

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Drive to Lake Titisee and free time on the promenade.
• Boat trip on Lake Titisee (on request).
• Black Forest gateau break in a tea room (on request).
• In the afternoon, Triberg: the waterfalls (viewpoint near the entrance) and cuckoo clock shops.
• Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4: Free day

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Free day to stroll at your own pace, without the coach (driver’s rest day).
• Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5: Lake Constance: Mainau and Meersburg

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Drive to Konstanz (about 2 hours).
• Visit to the flower island of Mainau, its gardens and its palace (on request).
• Group lunch at a restaurant (on request).
• Ferry crossing from Konstanz to Meersburg and walk through the old town above the lake.
• Return to the hotel at the end of the day.
• Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6: Farms and villages of the Kinzig Valley

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Visit to the Black Forest open-air farm museum (Vogtsbauernhof) in Gutach (on request).
• Group lunch at a restaurant (on request).
• In the afternoon, walk through the small half-timbered town of Gengenbach.
• Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7: Return to Belgium

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Morning departure.
• Journey with regular breaks: our drivers drive for 3 hours at most, then take a 30-minute break.
• Lunch at a restaurant on the way (on request).
• Return journey with regular breaks, arriving in your region in the evening.
