Five days in South Bohemia: Český Krumlov and its UNESCO-listed castle, České Budějovice and Hluboká Castle.
Nestled in the bends of the Vltava, Český Krumlov is a fairy-tale town listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with red roofs, Renaissance lanes and a vast castle. Your group stays there for three nights, leaving time to stroll in the evening once the day visitors have left. The trip also takes in České Budějovice, with its huge arcaded square and Budvar brewery, and the neo-Gothic Hluboká Castle, gleaming white in its park. On the way out, an overnight stop in Germany breaks up the journey, and two drivers handle the return. The programme can be tailored, with prices on quotation, for groups of 20 participants or more.
Programme
Day 1: Journey into Germany
- Morning departure from the location of your choice.
- Regular breaks on the road: our drivers drive for 3 hours at most, then take a 30-minute break.
- Overnight stop in Germany, in the Nuremberg area, to break up the journey: dinner and night at the hotel.
Day 2: Arrival in Český Krumlov
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Drive to South Bohemia and arrival in Český Krumlov in the late morning.
- Lunch in the old town (on request).
- Check-in at the hotel for 3 nights, then a first stroll through the lanes and along the Vltava.
- Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3: Český Krumlov Castle
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Guided tour of Český Krumlov Castle and its apartments (on request).
- Walk in the castle gardens and across the Cloak Bridge, with views over the town.
- Lunch in a restaurant in the old town (on request).
- Free afternoon to wander, visit the Egon Schiele Art Centrum or rest.
- Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4: České Budějovice and Hluboká
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Drive to České Budějovice: stroll on the arcaded Přemysl Otakar II Square and view of the Black Tower.
- Visit of the Budějovický Budvar brewery with tasting (on request).
- Lunch in České Budějovice (on request).
- In the afternoon, guided tour of Hluboká Castle, inspired by Windsor Castle (on request).
- Return to Český Krumlov.
- Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5: Return to Belgium
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Morning departure from Český Krumlov.
- Return journey with two drivers on board and regular breaks, arriving back in your area in the evening.

- Valid identity card and European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) for each participant.
- Departure and return times adapted to your group’s pick-up point; currency: Czech koruna (CZK), bank cards widely accepted.
- Walking level: moderate (cobbled pedestrian old town, gentle slope up to the castle); interior tours of Český Krumlov Castle run mainly from April to October, to be checked.
