Five days in the Bay of the Somme: Saint-Valery, Le Crotoy, the steam train, the seals of Le Hourdel, Mers-les-Bains and Le Tréport.
The Bay of the Somme, a member of the club of the most beautiful bays in the world, is an ideal destination for a relaxed seaside stay, about three hours from Belgium. Your group settles for four nights in the same hotel near the sea, on half board. You will discover the medieval town of Saint-Valery-sur-Somme and its quays, Le Crotoy and its south-facing beach, then a trip around the bay aboard a genuine steam train. The Pointe du Hourdel offers the chance to watch seals resting on the sandbanks, and the Alabaster Coast begins at Mers-les-Bains, with its colourful Belle Époque villas. Coach journeys are short and leave time to enjoy the seaside.
