Spa, a UNESCO-listed spa town: mineral springs, the Leopold II gallery, thermal baths on the hill and Lake Warfaaz.

Spa gave its name to every spa resort in the world and is one of the “Great Spa Towns of Europe” listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Your group discovers the Pouhon Pierre-le-Grand, where you can taste the iron-rich spring water, then the Leopold II gallery and the Parc de Sept Heures, with its flat, shady paths. Those who wish can take the funicular up to the Thermes de Spa for a wellness session in the warm-water pools. In the afternoon, the coach drives around Lake Warfaaz, in the greenery, before a final coffee break in town. A restful day, true to the town’s name.

Programme

  • Morning departure from the place of your choice.
  • Drive to Spa, with a coffee break on the way (our drivers drive for 3 hours at most, then take a 30-minute break).
  • Guided tour of the centre of Spa: Pouhon Pierre-le-Grand, Leopold II gallery and Parc de Sept Heures (on request).
  • Tasting of the spring water at the Pouhon Pierre-le-Grand.
  • Seated lunch in a restaurant in the centre (on request).
  • Funicular ride and session at the Thermes de Spa (on request).
  • Visit to the Spa Town Museum, in Queen Marie-Henriette’s former villa (on request).
  • Coach trip to Lake Warfaaz and a short walk by the water.
  • Return to your region in the evening.

Good to know

  • A valid identity card is required for each participant; departure and return times are adapted to your group’s pick-up point.
  • Walking level: easy (flat centre and park; thermal baths reached by funicular).
  • Wheelchair users or guests with reduced mobility: please let us know when booking so that we can adapt the programme.
  • For the thermal baths, bring a swimsuit, towel and sandals; access conditions and medical contraindications to be checked.

Cancellation and refund protection

Optional, to be taken when booking: you can cancel without giving a reason and get the base price of the trip back, provided your request reaches us at least 48 hours before departure for a day trip, 7 days before if admission tickets are included, 14 days before for a trip with overnight stays. Price: 7 % of the trip up to €1,000, 5 % from €1,001 to €2,500, 3.5 % above.
