Three days in Impressionist Normandy: half-timbered Rouen, Monet’s house and gardens in Giverny and Jumièges Abbey.

Rouen, the “city of a hundred spires”, inspired Claude Monet, who painted the façade of its cathedral more than thirty times. Your group discovers it gently, by little train, among half-timbered houses, the Gros-Horloge and the Place du Vieux-Marché, where Joan of Arc died. The second day is devoted to Giverny: the painter’s pink house with green shutters, his flower garden and the water lily pond, just as they appear on his canvases. Before heading home, the majestic ruins of Jumièges Abbey on the banks of the Seine leave a last beautiful image. Two nights in the same hotel on half board, commented visits and free time: everything is planned so you can travel unhurried.
