Roses and the Costa Brava: Cadaqués, Figueres and Besalú (8 days)

Day 1: Journey to the Rhône valley

• Morning departure from the pick-up point of your choice.
• Regular breaks: our drivers drive for 3 hours at most, then take a 30-minute break.
• Arrival in the Lyon area in the late afternoon, check-in at the hotel for an overnight stop, dinner.

Day 2: Arrival on the Costa Brava

• Breakfast and drive to Spain.
• Regular breaks: our drivers drive for 3 hours at most, then take a 30-minute break.
• Arrival in Roses, check-in at the hotel for 5 nights on half board, dinner.

Day 3: Cadaqués and Cap de Creus

• Scenic drive to Cadaqués, a fishing village of white houses.
• Stroll along the seafront and through the lanes around the church of Santa Maria.
• Visit of Salvador Dalí’s house in Portlligat (on request).
• Stop at the Cap de Creus viewpoint, then return to the hotel.

Day 4: Figueres and Besalú

• Drive to Figueres, birthplace of Salvador Dalí.
• Visit of the Dalí Theatre-Museum (on request).
• Lunch booked in a Catalan restaurant (on request).
• In the afternoon, Besalú, a medieval village with its famous fortified bridge, then return to Roses.

Day 5: Free day in Roses

• Free day (driver’s rest day).
• Beach, seafront promenade and free time near the Citadel of Roses.
• Dinner at the hotel.

Day 6: Empúries and L’Escala

• Drive to Empúries, an ancient site by the sea.
• Visit of the Greek and Roman ruins of Empúries (on request).
• Free lunch in L’Escala, a small port famous for its anchovies.
• Return to the hotel for the last dinner.

Day 7: Journey to the Rhône valley

• Breakfast and departure from Roses.
• Regular breaks: our drivers drive for 3 hours at most, then take a 30-minute break.
• Arrival in the Lyon area in the late afternoon, check-in at the hotel, dinner.

Day 8: Return to Belgium

• Breakfast and departure from the hotel.
• Regular breaks: our drivers drive for 3 hours at most, then take a 30-minute break.
• Free lunch stop on the way.
• Return in the evening to your region.
