Day 1: Journey to France

• Morning departure from the location of your choice.

Day 2: Arrival in Logroño

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Drive to Spain via Bordeaux and the Basque Country.
• Late-afternoon arrival in Logroño and check-in at the hotel for 6 nights.
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Logroño

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Guided tour of the old town: co-cathedral of Santa María de la Redonda and the Way of St James (on request).
• Free time at the San Blas market and in the shopping streets.
• Tapas evening in Calle Laurel (on request).
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Haro and Laguardia

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Drive to Haro, wine capital of La Rioja (about 45 minutes).
• Visit of a winery with a tasting of Rioja wines (on request).
• Lunch at a restaurant (on request).
• In the afternoon, discovery of Laguardia, a fortified village among the vines, and photo stop in Elciego.
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Free day in Logroño

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Free day: walk along the Ebro, parks and café terraces (driver’s rest day).
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 6: Pamplona and Olite

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Drive to Pamplona (about 1 hr 15).
• Guided tour of the old town: Plaza del Castillo, the San Fermín bull-run route and the cathedral (on request).
• Lunch at a restaurant (on request).
• On the way back, stop in Olite and its royal palace.
• Visit of the royal palace of Olite (on request).
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 7: San Millán and Santo Domingo

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Drive to San Millán de la Cogolla (about 45 minutes).
• Guided tour of the Yuso monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage site (on request).
• Lunch at a restaurant (on request).
• In the afternoon, stop in Santo Domingo de la Calzada and its cathedral, famous for its henhouse.
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 8: Journey to France
