The Catalan Pyrenees for senior groups: Ripoll, the Núria valley, Camprodon and La Garrotxa (8 days)

Day 1: Journey to France

• Morning departure from the pick-up point of your choice.
• Regular breaks: our drivers drive for 3 hours at most, then take a 30-minute break.
• Coffee break on the way and free lunch at a service area or roadside restaurant.
• Arrival in the Lyon area in the late afternoon and check-in at the hotel for a stopover night.
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Drive to Catalonia

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Drive into Spain via the Rhône valley and Perpignan.
• Regular breaks: our drivers drive for 3 hours at most, then take a 30-minute break.
• Arrival in the Ripoll area, at the foot of the Pyrenees, in the late afternoon and check-in at the hotel for 5 nights.
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Ripoll, Sant Joan de les Abadesses and Camprodon

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Discovery of the monastery of Santa Maria de Ripoll and its carved Romanesque portal.
• Guided tour of Ripoll monastery (on request).
• Lunch in a restaurant (on request).
• In the afternoon, Sant Joan de les Abadesses and its monastery, then Camprodon and its medieval bridge.
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: The Núria valley

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Drive to Ribes de Freser (about 20 minutes).
• Rack railway ride up to the sanctuary of Núria, at almost 2,000 metres (on request).
• Easy walk around the lake of Núria and free time.
• Lunch in a restaurant (on request).
• Return to the hotel in the late afternoon.
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Free day

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• A day without the coach (driver's rest day).
• Free day to rest or stroll through the streets of Ripoll.
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 6: La Garrotxa

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Drive to La Garrotxa (about 45 minutes), a land of forest-covered extinct volcanoes.
• Stop at Castellfollit de la Roca, a village perched on a basalt cliff.
• Lunch in a restaurant in Olot (on request).
• Visit to La Fageda d'en Jordà, a dairy cooperative in the heart of a beech forest (on request).
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 7: Journey to France

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Drive to France and stopover night in the Lyon area.
• Regular breaks: our drivers drive for 3 hours at most, then take a 30-minute break.
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 8: Return to Belgium

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Return journey to Belgium.
• Regular breaks: our drivers drive for 3 hours at most, then take a 30-minute break.
• Return to your region in the evening.
