Provence: Avignon, the Camargue, the Luberon and Arles (10 days)

Day 1: Journey to Burgundy

• Morning departure from the pick-up point of your choice.
• Regular breaks: our drivers drive for 3 hours at most, then take a 30-minute break.
• Arrival in Burgundy in the late afternoon, check-in at the hotel for an overnight stop, dinner.

Day 2: Arrival in Provence

• Breakfast and drive down the Rhône valley.
• Regular breaks: our drivers drive for 3 hours at most, then take a 30-minute break.
• Arrival in Avignon, check-in at the hotel for 7 nights, dinner.

Day 3: Avignon, city of the Popes

• Guided tour of the Palais des Papes (on request).
• Walk to the famous Pont Saint-Bénezet, the “Pont d’Avignon”.
• City tour by little tourist train (on request).
• Free lunch and free afternoon in the town’s lanes.

Day 4: Les Baux-de-Provence and Saint-Rémy

• Drive to the Alpilles and the hilltop village of Les Baux-de-Provence.
• Immersive show at the Carrières des Lumières (on request).
• Lunch booked in a Provençal restaurant (on request).
• In the afternoon, stroll in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, then return to Avignon.

Day 5: The Camargue

• Drive to Aigues-Mortes and its medieval ramparts.
• Discovery of Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, among lagoons, pink flamingos and white horses.
• Boat trip on the Petit Rhône (on request).
• Camargue lunch at a manade (bull ranch) (on request).
• Return to the hotel in the late afternoon.

Day 6: Free day in Avignon

• Free day on foot in Avignon (driver’s rest day).
• Les Halles covered market, the Rocher des Doms and its gardens overlooking the Rhône.
• Dinner at the hotel.

Day 7: The villages of the Luberon

• Drive to Gordes, a hilltop village facing the Luberon.
• Stop at Sénanque Abbey, surrounded by lavender in summer.
• Free lunch in Roussillon, among the ochre cliffs.
• Free time in L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, the “Venice of the Comtat”, then return to the hotel.

Day 8: Arles and the Pont du Gard

• Morning in Arles: Roman arena, ancient theatre and memories of Van Gogh.
• Guided tour of Roman Arles (on request).
• Lunch booked in Arles (on request).
• In the afternoon, discovery of the Pont du Gard, a UNESCO-listed Roman aqueduct, then last dinner at the hotel.

Day 9: Journey to Burgundy

• Breakfast and departure from Provence.
• Regular breaks: our drivers drive for 3 hours at most, then take a 30-minute break.
• Arrival in Burgundy in the late afternoon, free time.
• Burgundy wine tasting in a cellar (on request).
• Dinner and night at the hotel.

Day 10: Return to Belgium

• Breakfast and departure from the hotel.
• Regular breaks: our drivers drive for 3 hours at most, then take a 30-minute break.
• Free lunch stop on the way.
• Return in the evening to your region.
