Annecy and Savoy: Lake Annecy, the Mer de Glace and Lac du Bourget (8 days)

Day 1: Journey to Burgundy

• Morning departure from the pick-up point of your choice.
• Regular breaks: our drivers drive for 3 hours at most, then take a 30-minute break.
• Arrival in Beaune in the late afternoon, check-in at the hotel for an overnight stop, dinner.

Day 2: Beaune and arrival in Annecy

• Visit of the Hospices de Beaune and their glazed tile roofs (on request).
• Drive to Savoy (about 3 hours).
• Arrival in the Annecy area, check-in at the hotel for 5 nights, dinner.

Day 3: Annecy, the “Venice of the Alps”

• Guided tour of the old town, the Palais de l’Île and the Thiou canals (on request).
• Free lunch by the lake or in the old town.
• Guided cruise on Lake Annecy (on request).
• Return to the hotel for dinner.

Day 4: Chamonix and the Mer de Glace

• Drive to Chamonix, at the foot of the Mont Blanc massif (about 1 hr 30).
• Ride on the Montenvers rack railway to the Mer de Glace (on request).
• Lunch booked in a restaurant in Chamonix (on request).
• Free time in the centre of Chamonix, then return to the hotel.

Day 5: Free day in Annecy

• Free day (driver’s rest day).
• Stroll along the lake shore, in the Jardins de l’Europe and over the Pont des Amours.
• Market or shops in the old town, depending on the day.
• Dinner at the hotel.

Day 6: Aix-les-Bains and Lac du Bourget

• Drive to Aix-les-Bains, an elegant spa town on the shores of France’s largest natural lake.
• Boat crossing to Hautecombe Abbey (on request).
• Lunch booked by the lake (on request).
• Walk along the lakeside esplanade and return to the hotel for the last dinner.

Day 7: Journey to Beaune

• Breakfast and departure from Savoy.
• Regular breaks: our drivers drive for 3 hours at most, then take a 30-minute break.
• Arrival in Beaune in the early afternoon, free time in the old town.
• Burgundy wine tasting in a cellar (on request).
• Dinner and night at the hotel.

Day 8: Return to Belgium

• Breakfast and departure from Beaune.
• Regular breaks: our drivers drive for 3 hours at most, then take a 30-minute break.
• Free lunch stop on the way.
• Return in the evening to your region.
