Pieniny and Krynica-Zdrój: Dunajec raft trip, Niedzica Castle and spa towns (10 days)

Day 1: Journey into Germany

• Morning departure from the place of your choice.
• Regular breaks along the way: our drivers drive for 3 hours at most, then take a 30-minute break.
• Drive to Saxony via Cologne and Erfurt, arriving in the Dresden area in the late afternoon.
• Overnight stop along the way, with dinner at the hotel.

Day 2: Journey to Kraków

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Regular breaks along the way: our drivers drive for 3 hours at most, then take a 30-minute break.
• Drive into Poland via Wrocław, with a lunch break along the way.
• Overnight stop in the Kraków area, with dinner at the hotel.

Day 3: Dębno, Niedzica and Szczawnica

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Drive south (about 1 hour 30 minutes) and visit to the wooden church of St Michael in Dębno, a UNESCO site.
• Lunch booked at a restaurant (on request).
• Visit to Niedzica Castle, above Lake Czorsztyn.
• Short cruise on Lake Czorsztyn (on request).
• Arrival in Szczawnica in the late afternoon and check-in at the hotel for 3 nights.
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Dunajec raft trip

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Short drive to the landing stage at Sromowce Kąty.
• Trip down the Dunajec gorge on the rafts of the Pieniny boatmen, to Szczawnica (on request).
• Lunch booked at a restaurant (on request).
• Free afternoon in Szczawnica: spa park, pump room and stroll along the Grajcarek stream.
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Free day in Szczawnica

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Free day on foot in Szczawnica (driver’s rest day): flat walk along the Dunajec or a chairlift ride up Mount Palenica (when open).
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 6: Stary Sącz and Krynica-Zdrój

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Drive to Stary Sącz (about 45 minutes): cobbled Market Square and the Poor Clares’ convent founded by St Kinga.
• Lunch booked at a restaurant (on request).
• Arrival in Krynica-Zdrój in the early afternoon and check-in at the hotel for 2 nights.
• First stroll along the Deptak, the spa promenade, and tasting of the waters in the main pump room.
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 7: Krynica-Zdrój

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Funicular ride up Park Hill (Góra Parkowa) and a stroll at the top.
• Visit to the Nikifor Museum, devoted to the famous naïve painter of Krynica (on request).
• Lunch booked at a restaurant (on request).
• Free afternoon in the resort: spa park, wooden villas and possible concerts in the pump room.
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 8: Back to Kraków

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Regular breaks along the way: our drivers drive for 3 hours at most, then take a 30-minute break.
• Arrival in the Kraków area in the early afternoon, then free time in the old town and on the Market Square.
• Guided tour of Kraków’s old town (on request).
• Overnight stop in the Kraków area, with dinner at the hotel.

Day 9: Journey to Saxony

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Regular breaks along the way: our drivers drive for 3 hours at most, then take a 30-minute break.
• Drive into Germany via Wrocław, with a lunch break along the way.
• Overnight stop in the Dresden area, with dinner at the hotel.

Day 10: Return to Belgium

• Breakfast, then the last leg of the journey to Belgium.
• Regular breaks along the way: our drivers drive for 3 hours at most, then take a 30-minute break.
• Arrival back in your region in the evening.
