Day 1: Journey to France

• Morning departure from the location of your choice.
• Journey with regular breaks: our drivers drive for a maximum of 3 hours, then take a 30-minute break.
• Late-afternoon arrival in the Poitiers area and check-in at the hotel.
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Arrival in San Sebastián

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Drive to the Basque Country via Bordeaux and the Landes coast.
• Late-afternoon arrival in San Sebastián and check-in at the hotel for 2 nights.
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: San Sebastián on foot

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Guided tour of the old town and La Concha bay (on request).
• Funicular ride up Monte Igueldo for the view over the bay (on request).
• Free time on the promenade and in the pintxos bars (driver’s rest day).
• Pintxos lunch in the old town (on request).
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Bilbao and Santander

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Drive to Bilbao (about 1 hr 15).
• Stroll past the Guggenheim Museum and through the old town, the Casco Viejo.
• Visit of the Guggenheim Museum (on request).
• Lunch at a restaurant (on request).
• Drive to the Santander area and check-in at the hotel for 5 nights.
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Santillana del Mar and Comillas

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Discovery of Santillana del Mar, a medieval village of stone houses.
• Visit of the Altamira Museum and its replica of the painted cave (on request).
• Lunch at a restaurant (on request).
• In the afternoon, Comillas and El Capricho, a colourful villa designed by Gaudí.
• Visit of Gaudí’s El Capricho (on request).
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 6: Picos de Europa

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Drive into the Picos de Europa through the La Hermida gorge.
• Stop in Potes, a mountain town on the river.
• Fuente Dé cable car ride (on request).
• Lunch at a restaurant (on request).
• Stop at the monastery of Santo Toribio de Liébana on the way back.
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 7: Covadonga and Asturias

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Drive to Asturias (about 2 hours).
• Discovery of the shrine of Covadonga: basilica and Santa Cueva.
• Lunch at a restaurant in Cangas de Onís (on request).
• Free time in Cangas de Onís and at its medieval bridge.
• Asturian cider tasting (on request).
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 8: Santander

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Discovery of La Magdalena peninsula by little train.
• Guided tour of the Magdalena Palace (on request).
• Free afternoon on the promenade of El Sardinero beach.
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 9: Journey to France

• Departure towards France and overnight stop in the Poitiers area.
