Twelve days in the Basque Country and Béarn for your group: Biarritz, Saint-Jean-de-Luz, the Rhune, Bayonne, Lourdes, Pau and Saint-Émilion.

Between the ocean and the Pyrenees, the Basque Country charms with its white villages and red shutters, its cuisine and its way of life. Your group spends five nights in the Saint-Jean-de-Luz area, then three nights in Lourdes, with overnight stops in Touraine and the Bordeaux region to keep driving days reasonable. Biarritz and its Rocher de la Vierge, the little rack railway up the Rhune, Espelette and its peppers, and Bayonne and its chocolate make up the Basque part of the trip. In Béarn, Lourdes is explored on foot without the coach, and Pau offers its Boulevard des Pyrénées and the castle where Henri IV was born. On the way home, Saint-Émilion and its UNESCO-listed vineyards provide a final gourmet stop.
