Four unhurried days in Paris: panoramic tour, Montmartre by little train, a cruise on the Seine and Versailles.
Paris is a wonderful city to discover at an age when you like to take your time, provided it is well organised. A guided panoramic coach tour first shows you the great monuments, from the Eiffel Tower to the Champs-Élysées, without a single step too many. The little train and the funicular take you up to Montmartre, at the foot of the Sacré-Cœur and the Place du Tertre, and a commented cruise on the Seine shows Notre-Dame and the Louvre from the water. A whole day is set aside for the Palace of Versailles, with its Hall of Mirrors and gardens explored by little train. The same hotel for all three nights, on half board, and free time for a coffee on a terrace or a look at the department store windows.
Programme
Day 1: Drive to Paris and panoramic tour
- Morning departure from the place of your choice.
- Drive to Paris with regular breaks: our drivers drive no more than 3 hours, then take a 30-minute break.
- Lunch at a restaurant (on request).
- Panoramic coach tour of Paris with a guide: Eiffel Tower, Champs-Élysées, Concorde, Opéra and the banks of the Seine (on request).
- Check-in at the hotel for three nights and dinner.
Day 2: Montmartre and the Seine
- Breakfast, then ride up to Montmartre by little tourist train (on request).
- Free time around the Sacré-Cœur and the Place du Tertre, ride down by funicular.
- Lunch in a Montmartre bistro (on request).
- Guided tour of the Musée d’Orsay (on request).
- Commented cruise on the Seine at the end of the day (on request).
- Return to the hotel and dinner.
Day 3: The Palace of Versailles
- Breakfast and drive to Versailles.
- Guided tour of the palace: State Apartments and Hall of Mirrors (on request).
- Lunch at a restaurant in Versailles (on request).
- Discovery of the gardens by little train (on request).
- Return to the hotel in the late afternoon and dinner.
Day 4: Department stores and return
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Free time at the department stores on Boulevard Haussmann and view over Paris from their rooftop terraces.
- Lunch at a restaurant (on request).
- Return journey in the early afternoon, arriving in your region in the evening.

- Valid identity card and European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) for each participant.
- Departure and return times adapted to your group’s pick-up point; trip available from 20 participants, price on quotation.
- Walking level: moderate.
- The Palace of Versailles and the Musée d’Orsay are closed on Mondays; coach traffic and parking are regulated in Paris, drop-offs are made as close as possible to the sites in line with current rules.
