Three days in Paris for your class: Île de la Cité, the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, the Seine and the Cité des sciences.

This three-day trip introduces pupils to the great landmarks of French history, from the medieval Île de la Cité to the vistas of the Champs-Élysées. At the Louvre, a former royal palace turned museum, they see works studied in class, from ancient Egypt to the Renaissance. The Eiffel Tower, built for the 1889 World’s Fair, illustrates the industrial age, while the Cité des sciences et de l’industrie offers interactive exhibitions suited to all ages. The programme suits pupils from the last years of primary school and history, art and French classes in secondary school.

Programme

Day 1: Journey to Paris and the Île de la Cité

  • Departure from your school at the agreed time.
  • Regular breaks: our drivers drive for 3 hours at most, then take a 30-minute break, day and night.
  • Arrival in Paris and walk on the Île de la Cité: the square in front of Notre-Dame, the Conciergerie and the banks of the Seine.
  • Visit of the Sainte-Chapelle and its stained-glass windows (on request).
  • Check-in at the accommodation and dinner.

Day 2: The Louvre and the Eiffel Tower

  • Breakfast.
  • Guided tour of the Louvre Museum (on request).
  • Walk through the Tuileries Garden, Place de la Concorde and the Champs-Élysées to the Arc de Triomphe.
  • Ascent of the Eiffel Tower (on request).
  • Guided boat cruise on the Seine (on request).
  • Dinner and overnight at the accommodation.

Day 3: Cité des sciences and return

  • Breakfast.
  • Visit of the Cité des sciences et de l’industrie at La Villette (on request).
  • Regular breaks: our drivers drive for 3 hours at most, then take a 30-minute break, day and night.
  • Return to school in the evening.

  • 2 nights in a youth hostel or hotel, rooms for 3 to 8 pupils and separate rooms for the teachers

Good to know

  • Identity card (Kids-ID for children under 12) and parental consent for travel abroad for each pupil, as well as the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC).
  • Times adapted to your school; pupils are supervised by the accompanying teachers.
  • Paris museums require advance group bookings; bring good walking shoes.

Cancellation and refund protection

Optional, to be taken when booking: you can cancel without giving a reason and get the base price of the trip back, provided your request reaches us at least 48 hours before departure for a day trip, 7 days before if admission tickets are included, 14 days before for a trip with overnight stays. Price: 7 % of the trip up to €1,000, 5 % from €1,001 to €2,500, 3.5 % above.
