Two days on the Luxembourg Moselle: Schengen, the Remich promenade, a crémant cellar, a cruise and wine villages.
Along the Moselle, facing Germany, Luxembourg grows Rivaner, Auxerrois, Pinot Gris and Riesling vines and produces a renowned crémant. This short break follows the rhythm of the river: the Schengen museum and monument, the flower-lined promenade of Remich and a cellar visit with tasting. On the second day, a cruise glides past the wine villages while you sit back in comfort, before a stop at the Koeppchen chapel viewpoint in Wormeldange. A night in a hotel in the valley on half board and very short drives make this stay especially restful.
Programme
Day 1: Schengen and Remich
- Morning departure from the pick-up point of your choice; our drivers drive for no more than 3 hours, then take a 30-minute break.
- Arrival in Schengen in late morning and stop at the Schengen Agreement monument.
- Visit to the European Museum Schengen (on request).
- Reserved lunch at a restaurant by the Moselle (on request).
- Stroll along the esplanade of Remich, the “pearl of the Moselle”.
- Cellar visit and tasting of Crémant de Luxembourg (on request).
- Check-in at the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Cruise and wine villages
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Moselle cruise with lunch on board (on request).
- Wine route via Ahn and Wormeldange, with a stop at the Koeppchen chapel viewpoint.
- Visit to the Grevenmacher butterfly garden (on request).
- Free time in Grevenmacher, then departure in mid-afternoon.
- Return to your region in the evening.

- Cruises and the butterfly garden operate in season, usually from April to October: dates to be checked; the grape harvest takes place in September-October.
