Four days between Normandy and Brittany: crossing the bay, Mont-Saint-Michel Abbey and the ramparts of Saint-Malo.
Mont-Saint-Michel and its bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, are an exceptional place to understand the tides, among the strongest in continental Europe. With an approved guide, pupils can cross the bay on foot and discover the sands, the salt meadows and the safety rules of this environment. The abbey, built in the Middle Ages on a rock, illustrates monastic life and the genius of its builders. In Saint-Malo, the corsair city rebuilt after 1944, the ramparts and the Grand Aquarium complete the stay. This trip suits both the last years of primary school and secondary-school history, geography and science classes.
