Day 1: Journey to France

• Morning departure from the location of your choice.
• Journey with regular breaks: our drivers drive for a maximum of 3 hours, then take a 30-minute break.
• Late-afternoon arrival in the Poitiers area and check-in at the hotel.
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Burgos

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Drive to Spain via Bordeaux and the Basque Country.
• Late-afternoon arrival in Burgos and stroll through the old town.
• Guided tour of Burgos Cathedral (on request).
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Arrival in Madrid

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Drive to Madrid (about 2 hrs 30).
• Check-in at the hotel for 5 nights and free afternoon.
• Guided walk between the Puerta del Sol and the Plaza Mayor (on request).
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Madrid

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Panoramic coach tour of Madrid: Gran Vía, Castellana, Cibeles fountain.
• Guided tour of the Royal Palace (on request).
• Lunch at a restaurant (on request).
• Guided tour of the Prado Museum (on request).
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Toledo

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Drive to Toledo (about 1 hour) and view of the city from the viewpoint.
• Up into the old town by escalator.
• Guided tour of Toledo: cathedral, Santo Tomé church and Jewish quarter (on request).
• Lunch at a restaurant (on request).
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 6: Free day in Madrid

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Free day: Retiro park, museums or shopping (driver’s rest day).
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 7: Segovia

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Drive to Segovia (about 1 hr 15).
• Discovery of the Roman aqueduct, the cathedral and the Alcázar.
• Guided tour of Segovia and the Alcázar (on request).
• Roast suckling pig lunch at a restaurant (on request).
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 8: Salamanca

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Drive to Salamanca (about 2 hrs 30) and check-in at the hotel.
• Guided tour of Salamanca: Plaza Mayor, university and cathedrals (on request).
• Free evening on the illuminated Plaza Mayor.
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 9: Journey to the Basque Country

• Drive north through Castile and León.

Day 10: Journey to France

• Drive into France and overnight stop in the Poitiers area.

Day 11: Return to Belgium
