Llanes for senior groups: the Asturian coast, Lastres, Gijón and Oviedo (10 days)

Day 1: Journey to France

• Morning departure from the pick-up point of your choice.
• Regular breaks: our drivers drive for 3 hours at most, then take a 30-minute break.
• Coffee break on the way and free lunch at a service area or roadside restaurant.
• Arrival in the Poitiers area in the late afternoon and check-in at the hotel for a stopover night.
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Drive to Asturias

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Drive into Spain via Bordeaux, the Basque Country and Cantabria.
• Regular breaks: our drivers drive for 3 hours at most, then take a 30-minute break.
• Arrival in Llanes in the late afternoon and check-in at the hotel near the sea for 7 nights.
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Llanes on foot

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• A day without the coach (driver's rest day).
• Walk through the old town and the port, then along the Paseo de San Pedro above the sea.
• Discovery of the Cubes of Memory, breakwater blocks painted by the artist Agustín Ibarrola.
• Free afternoon on the beach.
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Ribadesella and Lastres

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Drive to Ribadesella (about 30 minutes), at the mouth of the river Sella, and a stroll around the port.
• Lunch in a restaurant (on request).
• In the afternoon, Lastres, a fishing village clinging to the cliff.
• Tasting of Asturian cider poured the traditional way (on request).
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Gijón

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Drive to Gijón (about 1 hour 15 minutes).
• Walk through the old Cimadevilla quarter and along San Lorenzo beach.
• Lunch in a restaurant (on request).
• Free afternoon in town.
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 6: Free day

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Free day on the beach or on a café terrace in Llanes.
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 7: Oviedo

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Drive to Oviedo (about 1 hour 15 minutes).
• Guided tour of the old town and the cathedral (on request).
• Lunch in a restaurant (on request).
• In the afternoon, stop at the pre-Romanesque churches of Santa María del Naranco and San Miguel de Lillo, listed by UNESCO.
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 8: The bufones of Pría

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Short drive to the bufones of Pría (about 20 minutes), natural blowholes where the sea spurts up through the cliff in rough weather.
• Lunch of Asturian fabada in a restaurant (on request).
• Free afternoon in Llanes.
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 9: Journey to France

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Drive to France and stopover night in the Poitiers area.
• Regular breaks: our drivers drive for 3 hours at most, then take a 30-minute break.
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 10: Return to Belgium

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Return journey to Belgium.
• Regular breaks: our drivers drive for 3 hours at most, then take a 30-minute break.
• Return to your region in the evening.
