A 9-day tour of Don Quixote country: the hanging houses of Cuenca, the windmills of Campo de Criptana and Consuegra, and Almagro.

The wide open spaces of La Mancha, its white windmills and peaceful villages bring the adventures of Don Quixote back to life. Your group begins with Cuenca, a UNESCO-listed town perched above two gorges and famous for its hanging houses. It then discovers the windmills of Campo de Criptana and Consuegra, followed by Almagro, with its Plaza Mayor lined with green galleries and its 17th-century theatre. Manchego cheese and Valdepeñas wines accompany the optional tastings. The journey includes regular breaks and stopover nights in the Poitiers area and in Burgos, and a day without the coach in Cuenca lets everyone take their time.
