A day in Han-sur-Lesse: the vintage tram to the cave, its spectacular chambers and the Ardennes wildlife park.
For more than a century, the Han cave has fascinated visitors with its vast chambers carved out by the River Lesse. The day begins with a ride on the vintage tram, which takes your group from the village to the cave entrance. The guided tour then reveals stalactites, stalagmites and the great Dome chamber, all beautifully lit. After a booked lunch in the village, the wildlife park introduces bears, wolves, lynx and bison of the European forests, from a safari vehicle. An original day out at your own pace, returning in the evening.
Programme
- Morning departure from the place of your choice.
- Drive to Han-sur-Lesse (our drivers drive for 3 hours at most, then take a 30-minute break).
- Vintage tram ride from the village to the cave entrance.
- Guided tour of the Han cave, about an hour on foot with steps and damp passages.
- Lunch booked in a restaurant in the village (on request)
- Tour of the wildlife park by safari vehicle (on request)
- Free time in the village of Han-sur-Lesse.
- Departure in the late afternoon and return to your area in the evening.
