Delft and its blue pottery, then The Hague, the Girl with a Pearl Earring at the Mauritshuis and the Scheveningen promenade.
Delft is a small town of canals and bridges, ideal for an effortless discovery. On the large Market Square, the town hall faces the New Church, where the princes of Orange are buried, and the famous blue pottery can be seen in a factory still at work. In the afternoon, The Hague, seat of the Dutch government, is first explored by coach, from the Peace Palace to the Binnenhof seen across the Hofvijver pond. At the Mauritshuis, a museum on a human scale, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring awaits your group. To end the day, a break facing the North Sea on the Scheveningen promenade.
