Day 1: Journey to Burgundy

• Arrival in the late afternoon, overnight stop in the Mâcon area and dinner at the hotel.

Day 2: The Rhône Valley and Orange

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Drive to Provence through the Rhône Valley, with a coffee break.
• Sit-down lunch in a restaurant on the way (on request).
• Visit to the UNESCO-listed Roman theatre of Orange.
• Overnight stop in the Orange area and dinner at the hotel.

Day 3: Journey to the Côte d’Azur

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Drive to the Côte d’Azur with a coffee break.
• Sit-down lunch in a restaurant on the way (on request).
• Check-in at a hotel in the Nice area for 7 nights and dinner at the hotel.

Day 4: Nice

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Stroll along the Promenade des Anglais and through Old Nice to the Cours Saleya.
• Guided tour of Old Nice (on request).
• Tour of the city by little tourist train (on request).
• Niçoise lunch in a restaurant in Old Nice (on request).
• Ride up Castle Hill by lift for the view over the Baie des Anges.
• Return to the hotel and dinner.

Day 5: Monaco and Èze

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Drive to Monaco (about 40 minutes) and discovery of the Rock and the surroundings of the Prince’s Palace.
• Visit to the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco (on request).
• Sit-down lunch in a restaurant in Monaco (on request).
• Stop at Èze, a village perched above the sea (steep climb through the lanes).
• Visit to a perfumery in Èze (on request).
• Return to the hotel and dinner.

Day 6: Menton and Villefranche-sur-Mer

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Drive to Menton (about 50 minutes) and stroll through the old town and along the seafront.
• Visit to a Menton garden (on request).
• Sit-down lunch in a restaurant in Menton (on request).
• Stop at Villefranche-sur-Mer and an easy walk around the harbour.
• Return to the hotel and dinner.

Day 7: Free day in Nice

• Free day on site (driver’s rest day).
• Free time on the Promenade des Anglais, at the market or in Nice’s museums.
• Visit to the Matisse Museum (on request).
• Dinner at the hotel.

Day 8: Saint-Paul-de-Vence and Grasse

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Drive to Saint-Paul-de-Vence (about 40 minutes) and stroll through the walled village.
• Visit to the Fondation Maeght (on request).

• Drive to Grasse, the world capital of perfume.

Day 9: Cannes and the Lérins Islands

Day 11: Journey home

• Breakfast at the hotel, then journey home.
