A day on the Moselle: Cochem and its imperial castle, a river cruise and a wine tasting.

Cochem is one of the most famous images of the Moselle: a small town of colourful houses, overlooked by the silhouette of the Reichsburg, the imperial castle. Your group discovers the centre and its riverside, and can then go up to the castle for a guided tour of its furnished rooms. The Moselle cruise then lets you admire the terraced vineyards from your seat on board, without the slightest effort. A wine tasting in one of the town’s cellars rounds off the day. The drive of about two and a half hours from the Liège area leaves plenty of time on site.

  • Walking level: moderate for the climb to the castle (steep, shuttle access depending on the season, to be checked), easy for the rest of the day; cruises from about April to October.

Cancellation and refund protection

Optional, to be taken when booking: you can cancel without giving a reason and get the base price of the trip back, provided your request reaches us at least 48 hours before departure for a day trip, 7 days before if admission tickets are included, 14 days before for a trip with overnight stays. Price: 7 % of the trip up to €1,000, 5 % from €1,001 to €2,500, 3.5 % above.
