A relaxed day in Aachen: Charlemagne’s cathedral, the town hall and some time to unwind at the Carolus Thermen spa.

Less than an hour from Liège, Aachen is the ideal outing for a day without a long drive. Your group discovers the cathedral that holds the relics of Charlemagne, the first German monument on the UNESCO World Heritage List, then the Gothic town hall built on the foundations of his palace. Between the Elisenbrunnen and the pedestrian lanes, you can taste Printen, the town’s spiced biscuits. In the afternoon, those who wish can relax in the thermal pools of the Carolus Thermen, while the others enjoy free time in town. A gentle day, at everyone’s own pace.

Cancellation and refund protection

Optional, to be taken when booking: you can cancel without giving a reason and get the base price of the trip back, provided your request reaches us at least 48 hours before departure for a day trip, 7 days before if admission tickets are included, 14 days before for a trip with overnight stays. Price: 7 % of the trip up to €1,000, 5 % from €1,001 to €2,500, 3.5 % above.
