Bokrijk open-air museum and its old farmhouses, then Hasselt, its Japanese garden and its jenever museum.
In the heart of Limburg, Bokrijk open-air museum brings together farms, windmills, chapels and old houses from all over Flanders, amid meadows and vegetable gardens. Your group strolls through it as if through a village of the past, where craftspeople sometimes bring old skills back to life. The site is large but flat: everyone chooses their own route, and there is no need to see everything. In the afternoon, the coach continues to Hasselt for the Japanese garden, one of the largest in Europe, full of ponds, waterfalls and cherry trees. The day ends at the National Jenever Museum, with a small tasting of this typical Limburg spirit.
