Venice and the Veneto: the lagoon, Murano and Burano, Padua and the Brenta Riviera (8 days)

Day 1: Journey to Bavaria

• Morning departure from the pick-up point of your choice.
• Route through Germany.
• Regular breaks: our drivers drive for 3 hours at most, then take a 30-minute break.
• Overnight stop in Bavaria.
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: The Brenner and the Veneto

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Route through Austria and over the Brenner Pass, then down the Adige valley.
• Regular breaks: our drivers drive for 3 hours at most, then take a 30-minute break.
• Arrival in the late afternoon in the Venice area (mainland) and check-in at the hotel for 5 nights.
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Venice, the Serenissima

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Coach transfer to the landing stage, then boat to St Mark's Square (on request).
• Guided tour of St Mark's Square and the basilica (on request).
• Visit to the Doge's Palace and the Bridge of Sighs (on request).
• Lunch in a Venetian restaurant (on request).
• Gondola ride (on request).
• Return by boat, then by coach to the hotel.
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Murano, Burano and Torcello

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Tour of the lagoon islands by boat (on request).
• Glass-blowing demonstration in a Murano workshop (on request).
• Fish lunch in Burano (on request), then a stroll among the colourful houses.
• Stop in Torcello and its cathedral with Byzantine mosaics.
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Free day

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Free day (driver's rest day): rest at the hotel or return to Venice by train or public transport, at your own pace.
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 6: Padua and the Brenta Riviera

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Drive to Padua and guided tour of the Basilica of St Anthony and the historic centre (on request).
• Visit to the Scrovegni Chapel and Giotto's frescoes, in small groups and by reservation (on request).
• In the afternoon, visit to Villa Pisani in Stra, on the Brenta Riviera (on request).
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 7: Journey to Bavaria

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Return route over the Brenner Pass and through Austria.
• Regular breaks: our drivers drive for 3 hours at most, then take a 30-minute break.
• Overnight stop in Bavaria.
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 8: Return to Belgium

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Return journey through Germany.
• Regular breaks: our drivers drive for 3 hours at most, then take a 30-minute break.
• Return to your region in the late afternoon.
