Day 1: Departure and overnight stopover (central Switzerland)

• Morning departure from the place of your choice.
• Journey with regular breaks: our drivers drive for 3 hours at most, then take a 30-minute break.
• Late-afternoon arrival at the stopover hotel (central Switzerland), dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Arrival in Rimini

• Breakfast, then the last part of the journey with regular breaks.
• Crossing of the Alps through the Gotthard tunnel, then journey south.
• Afternoon arrival, check-in at the hotel for 7 nights, dinner.

Day 3: Rimini, from Antiquity to Fellini

• Guided tour of the historic centre: Arch of Augustus, Bridge of Tiberius and Tempio Malatestiano (on request).
• Free time on Piazza Cavour and at the covered market.
• Free afternoon on the beach; dinner at the hotel.

Day 4: The Republic of San Marino

• Short drive to Borgo Maggiore, then cable car up to the old town of San Marino.
• Guided tour of the historic centre and the Palazzo Pubblico, with views of the Apennines and the sea (on request).
• Lunch in a restaurant in San Marino (on request).
• Return to Rimini in the afternoon.

Day 5: Free day in Rimini

• Free day (driver's rest day): beach, seafront promenade and market.
• Dinner at the hotel.

Day 6: Ravenna and its mosaics

• Drive to Ravenna.
• Guided tour of the UNESCO-listed monuments: Basilica of San Vitale and Mausoleum of Galla Placidia (on request).
• Stop at Dante's tomb in the historic centre.
• Lunch in a Ravenna trattoria (on request).
• Return to Rimini in the late afternoon.

Day 7: Relaxing day by the sea

• Free day on the beach or in town.
• Cooking class to learn how to make the Romagna piadina (on request).
• Dinner at the hotel.

Day 8: Gradara and Santarcangelo di Romagna

• Short drive to Gradara Castle, a medieval fortress linked to the legend of Paolo and Francesca, sung by Dante.
• Visit of the castle (on request) and walk along the village walls.
• In the afternoon, discovery of Santarcangelo di Romagna, a hilltop village with picturesque lanes.
• Tasting of Romagna wines (on request).
• Last evening in Rimini.

Day 9: Leaving Rimini, overnight stopover (central Switzerland)

• Breakfast, then return journey with regular breaks.
• Late-afternoon arrival at the stopover hotel (central Switzerland), dinner and overnight stay.

Day 10: Return to Belgium

• Breakfast, then return journey with regular breaks.
• Evening return to your home area.
