Two gentle days in Spa at Christmas: an illuminated spa town, hilltop thermal baths, Pouhon Pierre-le-Grand and Eupen chocolate.

Spa, the spa town that gave its name to all the others, is perfect for a gentle Christmas break. Your group arrives for lunch, then discovers the Pouhon Pierre-le-Grand, the Léopold II gallery and the casino, before enjoying the Christmas events in the centre, depending on the year’s programme. Those who wish can relax at the thermal baths on the hill, reached by funicular. In the evening dinner is served at the hotel, and the next day a tasty visit to a chocolate maker in Eupen comes before the journey home. The centre of Spa is flat and compact: walking remains easy.

Day 1: Arrival in Spa

  • Departure in the morning from the place of your choice.
  • Comfortable coach journey; our drivers drive for 3 hours at most, then take a 30-minute break.
  • Coffee break on the way.
  • Arrival in Spa in the late morning.
  • Seated lunch in a restaurant in the centre (on request)
  • Guided walk: Pouhon Pierre-le-Grand, Léopold II gallery and casino (on request)
  • Free time at the Christmas events and chalets in the centre.
  • Check-in at the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Spa thermal baths, Eupen and return

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Relaxing morning at the Spa thermal baths, reached by funicular (on request)
  • Short drive to Eupen.
  • Visit of a chocolate maker in Eupen, with tasting (on request)
  • Seated lunch on the way (on request)
  • Return in the late afternoon or early evening to your region.

Good to know

  • A valid identity card is required; departure and return times are adapted to your pick-up point.
  • Walking level: easy (flat centre; bring a swimsuit and sandals if you choose the thermal baths).
  • Christmas markets run from late November to late December, to be checked each year; wheelchairs and reduced mobility: please let us know when booking.

Cancellation and refund protection

Optional, to be taken when booking: you can cancel without giving a reason and get the base price of the trip back, provided your request reaches us at least 48 hours before departure for a day trip, 7 days before if admission tickets are included, 14 days before for a trip with overnight stays. Price: 7 % of the trip up to €1,000, 5 % from €1,001 to €2,500, 3.5 % above.
