Four days on the Belgian coast for your group: De Haan’s villas, Wenduine’s dune, the coastal tram and Bruges, on half board.
De Haan, known as Le Coq in French, has kept its Belle Époque charm, with the turreted, half-timbered villas of its Concessie quarter tucked among the dunes. Albert Einstein stayed here in 1933, and a statue in the resort pays tribute to him. Next door, Wenduine offers a family-friendly promenade and the Spioenkop dune, with views over the sea and the polders. Your group enjoys the sea air, long sandy beaches and the coastal tram, plus a day in nearby Bruges. Association, club or family: we organise this half-board stay on the date and from the departure point of your choice.
Programme
Day 1: To the coast and De Haan
- Morning departure from the place of your choice, with regular breaks (3 hours’ driving maximum, then a 30-minute break).
- Arrival in De Haan and check-in at the hotel for 3 nights, half board.
- Walk through the Concessie quarter and its Belle Époque villas.
- Dinner at the hotel.
Day 2: Wenduine, the promenade and the dunes
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Walk to Wenduine along the promenade and through the dunes.
- Climb the Spioenkop, a viewpoint over the sea and the hinterland.
- Bike hire for the group (on request).
- Free afternoon on the beach, then dinner at the hotel.
Day 3: Excursion to Bruges
- Breakfast, then coach transfer to Bruges.
- Guided tour of the historic centre: Markt, belfry, Burg square and béguinage (on request).
- Canal boat trip (on request).
- Free time, return to De Haan and dinner at the hotel.
Day 4: A last stroll and return
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Free morning for a last walk along the promenade.
- Coastal tram ride to Ostend (on request).
- Fish and seafood lunch (on request).
- Return journey in the afternoon, arriving back in your area in the early evening.
