An end-of-year outing to Luxembourg's Winterlights: Place d'Armes markets, Ferris wheel, mulled wine and a team lunch.

To thank your teams at the end of the year, Luxembourg City offers Winterlights, its winter festival with Christmas markets spread across the centre. The Place d'Armes, illuminated chalets and the scent of Glühwäin set the tone, while the Ferris wheel on the Place de la Constitution offers a unique view of the Pétrusse valley and the old town. A team lunch in a festive atmosphere is the chance to look back on the year in good spirits. To finish, a walk at nightfall along the illuminated Chemin de la Corniche leaves everyone with a lovely memory of this end-of-year outing. The programme can be adapted to your budget and group size, from 20 participants and on the date of your choice: price on quotation.

Programme

  • Departure by coach from in front of your company, at the agreed time.
  • Drive to Luxembourg City, with a 30-minute break if the journey exceeds 3 hours.
  • Guided tour of the old town and its fortifications (on request).
  • End-of-year team lunch in a restaurant in the centre (on request).
  • Free time at the Winterlights Christmas markets, Place d'Armes and Place de la Constitution.
  • Ferris wheel ride on the Place de la Constitution, overlooking the Pétrusse valley (on request).
  • A glass of Glühwäin for the teams and a tasting of Gromperekichelcher, Luxembourg potato fritters (on request).
  • Walk at nightfall along the Chemin de la Corniche.
  • Return to your company in the evening.

Good to know

  • Times are adapted to your company's schedule; our drivers drive for 3 hours at most, then take a 30-minute break.
  • A valid identity card is required for each participant.
  • Winterlights runs from late November to late December: exact dates and opening hours to be checked each year; it is busy at weekends; bring warm clothes and good shoes.
  • Several pick-up points are possible to bring together teams from different sites.

Cancellation and refund protection

Optional, to be taken when booking: you can cancel without giving a reason and get the base price of the trip back, provided your request reaches us at least 48 hours before departure for a day trip, 7 days before if admission tickets are included, 14 days before for a trip with overnight stays. Price: 7 % of the trip up to €1,000, 5 % from €1,001 to €2,500, 3.5 % above.
