Climb the Belval blast furnaces, ride the Fond-de-Gras mine train and enjoy a team rally: the industrial south of Luxembourg.

The Minett, the iron-ore country in the south of Luxembourg, built the wealth of the Grand Duchy and is now recognised as a UNESCO biosphere reserve. In Belval, your staff climb the blast furnaces preserved in the middle of an ultra-modern university district, a powerful place to talk about innovation and change. A team rally in the district adds a playful touch, before the afternoon at Fond-de-Gras, where historic trains and the mine train bring the mining era back to life. An original outing, particularly appreciated by industrial and technical companies. The programme can be adapted to your budget and group size, from 20 participants and on the date of your choice: price on quotation.

  • Drive to southern Luxembourg, with a 30-minute break if the journey exceeds 3 hours.
  • Guided tour of the Belval blast furnaces, with a climb to the panoramic platform (on request).
  • Team photo rally in the Belval district (on request).
  • Team lunch in the Esch-sur-Alzette area (on request).
  • Walk around the Fond-de-Gras site, a former mining village.
  • Ride on the historic train or the mine train to Lasauvage, depending on the timetable (on request).
  • Return to your company in the evening.

Good to know

  • Times are adapted to your company's schedule; our drivers drive for 3 hours at most, then take a 30-minute break.
  • A valid identity card is required for each participant.
  • The Fond-de-Gras trains mainly run from May to September on specific dates, and access to the blast furnaces depends on the weather: programme to be checked for your date; wear closed shoes.
  • Several pick-up points are possible to bring together teams from different sites.

Cancellation and refund protection

Optional, to be taken when booking: you can cancel without giving a reason and get the base price of the trip back, provided your request reaches us at least 48 hours before departure for a day trip, 7 days before if admission tickets are included, 14 days before for a trip with overnight stays. Price: 7 % of the trip up to €1,000, 5 % from €1,001 to €2,500, 3.5 % above.
