Three days in the spa town of Baden-Baden: Kurhaus, thermal baths, Lichtentaler Allee, Lake Mummelsee and Favorite Palace.
At the foot of the Black Forest, Baden-Baden is one of Europe’s most elegant spa towns, listed together with other great spa towns as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your group strolls along the Lichtentaler Allee, an English-style park following the river Oos, then admires the Trinkhalle and the Kurhaus. A relaxing morning at the thermal baths is offered to those who wish, before a beautiful scenic drive along the Black Forest High Road to Lake Mummelsee. On the last day, Favorite Palace in Rastatt reveals its precious porcelain collections. Walks are flat and short, coach journeys brief, and the 3-star hotel on half board welcomes you for two nights.
Programme
Day 1: Belle Époque Baden-Baden
- Morning departure from the place of your choice.
- Journey with a coffee break and a lunch stop: our drivers drive for 3 hours at most, then take a 30-minute break.
- Arrival in Baden-Baden in the early afternoon.
- Guided walk along the Lichtentaler Allee, the Trinkhalle and around the Kurhaus (on request).
- Free time in the pedestrian centre for a coffee and a slice of Black Forest gateau.
- Check-in at the hotel, dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Thermal baths and the High Road
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Morning at the Caracalla thermal baths, with indoor and outdoor thermal pools (on request).
- Seated lunch in town (on request).
- In the afternoon, scenic drive along the Black Forest High Road (Schwarzwaldhochstrasse) to Lake Mummelsee.
- Free time by the lake, surrounded by fir trees.
- Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Favorite Palace and return
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Guided tour of Favorite Palace in Rastatt and its porcelain collections (on request).
- Walk in the palace park, then free lunch.
- Return journey with regular breaks.
- Return in the evening to your region.

- Walking level: easy (flat avenues, pedestrian centre; the walk around Lake Mummelsee is optional).
- Possible all year round; Favorite Palace is generally open from mid-March to mid-November, to be checked each year.
