Two days in Pas-de-Calais: Arras squares and boves, Wellington Quarry, the Louvre-Lens and Notre-Dame-de-Lorette.
Arras charms visitors with its two great squares lined with Flemish-style facades and its UNESCO-listed belfry. Beneath the town, the boves and the Wellington Quarry, dug by New Zealand soldiers during the First World War, make for a visit that is as surprising as it is moving. The next day, the Louvre-Lens and its Gallery of Time present masterpieces from every era in a bright, airy building. A meaningful trip, ideal for a staff committee curious about history and culture. Évadons-nous organises everything for you – coach, activities, meals and hotel – from 20 participants, on the date of your choice, departing from your company. Programme
Day 1: Arras, squares and tunnels
- Departure by coach from outside your company, at the agreed time.
- Journey with regular breaks: our drivers drive for 3 hours at most, then take a 30-minute break.
- Arrival in Arras and free lunch around the Grand-Place.
- Visit to the boves beneath the town hall and climb up the belfry (on request).
- Visit to the Wellington Quarry, memorial to the Battle of Arras (on request).
- Team treasure hunt between the Grand-Place and the Place des Héros (on request).
- Check-in at the hotel in the late afternoon.
- Team dinner in a restaurant in the historic centre (on request).
Day 2: Louvre-Lens and Notre-Dame-de-Lorette
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Drive to Lens.
- Guided tour of the Louvre-Lens and its Gallery of Time (on request).
- Free lunch.
- Visit to the Notre-Dame-de-Lorette necropolis and the Ring of Remembrance (on request).
- Meeting room for a work session (on request).
- Journey with regular breaks: our drivers drive for 3 hours at most, then take a 30-minute break.
- Return to your company in the evening.
