An 8-day tour of Bohemia: Prague, Plzeň, then the spa triangle of Karlovy Vary, Mariánské Lázně and Františkovy Lázně.
In western Bohemia, three spa towns form a famous triangle, listed by UNESCO with other resorts among the “Great Spa Towns of Europe”. Your group begins in Prague, with its castle and Charles Bridge, then stops in Plzeň, the town that gave its name to pilsner beer. In Karlovy Vary, you stroll from colonnade to colonnade, porcelain cup in hand, to the Vřídlo geyser, before tasting the thin spa wafers. Mariánské Lázně spreads out its parks and singing fountain, while little Františkovy Lázně, all yellow and white, shows off its classical pavilions. A calm and elegant trip, ideal for groups looking to relax.
Programme
Day 1: Journey to Bavaria
- Morning departure from the place of your choice.
- Journey with regular breaks: no more than 3 hours of driving, then a 30-minute break.
- Arrival in the evening and overnight stop in Bavaria.
Day 2: On to Prague
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Drive into the Czech Republic and arrival in Prague in the late morning.
- Check-in for 2 nights.
- Afternoon in the Old Town: Old Town Square, the astronomical clock and the Church of Our Lady before Týn.
Day 3: Prague
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Prague Castle, St Vitus Cathedral and Golden Lane.
- Down through Malá Strana and across Charles Bridge.
- Guided tour of Prague Castle (on request).
- Cruise on the Vltava (on request).
- Czech folklore dinner (on request).
Day 4: Plzeň and Karlovy Vary
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Drive to Plzeň: Republic Square and St Bartholomew’s Cathedral.
- Tour of the Pilsner Urquell brewery with tasting (on request).
- Drive to Karlovy Vary and check-in for 3 nights.
Day 5: Karlovy Vary on foot (driver’s rest day)
- A day without the coach: a walk along the Teplá, from the Mill Colonnade to the Vřídlo geyser.
- Free tasting of the springs with the traditional porcelain cup.
- Visit to the Jan Becher Museum, dedicated to Becherovka liqueur (on request).
- Visit to the Moser glassworks (on request).
- Spa treatment or massage in a local spa (on request).
Day 6: Loket and Mariánské Lázně
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Stop in Loket, a small town wrapped in a bend of the Ohře, and its castle.
- Visit to Loket Castle (on request).
- Drive to Mariánské Lázně: the great colonnade, the parks and the singing fountain.
- Return to Karlovy Vary in the late afternoon.
Day 7: Františkovy Lázně, Cheb and on to Bavaria
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Discovery of Františkovy Lázně, its spring pavilions and the statue of little František.
- Stop in Cheb: King George of Poděbrady Square and the medieval houses of Špalíček.
- Drive to Bavaria and overnight stop.
Day 8: Return to Belgium
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Journey with regular breaks: no more than 3 hours of driving, then a 30-minute break.
- Evening return to your region.

Good to know
- A valid identity card and European Health Insurance Card for each participant; departure and return times adapted to your group’s pick-up point.
- Currency: Czech koruna (CZK); cards are accepted almost everywhere; the porcelain cup can be bought locally.
- Pleasant from April to October; the singing fountain in Mariánské Lázně runs in season, times to be checked for the year.
