Three days in the Rhine valley: Koblenz and Ehrenbreitstein fortress, a cruise past the Lorelei, Rüdesheim and Eltz Castle.
Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Upper Middle Rhine Valley is lined with castles, wine villages and spectacular bends: a perfect setting for your staff committee weekend or your teams’ reward trip. In Koblenz, where the Rhine and the Moselle meet, the cable car glides over the river up to Ehrenbreitstein fortress. On the second day, a cruise sails past the famous Lorelei rock before a convivial evening in the wine taverns of Rüdesheim. The return journey can include a visit to Eltz Castle, one of Germany’s finest medieval castles. We organise everything, from the coach to the hotel, activities and meals, adapting the programme to your budget and group size.
Programme
Day 1: Koblenz and Ehrenbreitstein
- Departure by touring coach from outside your company, at the agreed time.
- Drive to Koblenz: our drivers drive for 3 hours at most, then take a 30-minute break.
- Discovery of the Deutsches Eck, the point where the Moselle flows into the Rhine.
- Cable car over the Rhine and visit to Ehrenbreitstein fortress (on request).
- Check-in at a 3-star hotel in Koblenz or in the Rhine valley.
- Meeting, seminar or presentation in a hotel meeting room (on request).
- Team dinner at a restaurant (on request).
Day 2: Cruise and Rüdesheim
- Breakfast at the hotel and check-out.
- Cruise on the Romantic Rhine between Boppard and Rüdesheim, past the Lorelei rock; the coach meets the group on arrival (on request).
- Team lunch on board or in Rüdesheim (on request).
- Cable car over the vineyards up to the Niederwald monument (on request).
- Rheingau wine tasting at a winegrower’s (on request).
- Check-in at a 3-star hotel in or near Rüdesheim.
- Team evening in a wine tavern on the Drosselgasse, with dinner and music (on request).
Day 3: Eltz Castle and return
- Breakfast at the hotel and check-out.
- Guided tour of Eltz Castle, in a wooded valley near the Moselle (on request).
- Team lunch (on request).
- Return journey, with the same safety breaks, arriving back at your company in the evening.

Good to know
- A valid identity card is required for each participant; departure and return times are adapted to your company’s working hours.
- Rhine cruises and the visit to Eltz Castle are mainly available from April to October: dates and times are checked when preparing the quote; access to Eltz Castle involves a walk or a shuttle from the car park.
