A team day in the French Ardennes: Sedan fortress, kayaking down the Meuse and the Place Ducale in Charleville.

Just across the Belgian border, the French Ardennes combine history and nature. Sedan’s fortified castle, one of the largest in Europe, immerses your teams in a world of ramparts and medieval towers. On the meanders of the Meuse, a kayak or canoe trip in teams brings a real boost to team spirit. The day ends on the Place Ducale in Charleville-Mézières, a cousin of the Place des Vosges in Paris, in the hometown of Arthur Rimbaud. An ideal day to strengthen team spirit, thank your staff or celebrate a great result. From 20 participants and on the date of your choice, Évadons-nous takes care of everything, from the coach leaving from your company to the activities and meals, and tailors the programme to your budget and group size.

Programme

  • Departure by coach from outside your company, at the agreed time.
  • Safe journey: our drivers drive for 3 hours at most, then take a 30-minute break.
  • Arrival in Sedan in the mid-morning.
  • Visit of Sedan’s fortified castle, its ramparts and historical trail.
  • Team lunch in a restaurant in or around Sedan (on request).
  • Kayak or canoe trip down the Meuse in teams, with a local provider (on request).
  • Free time in Charleville-Mézières, on the Place Ducale and along the Meuse.
  • Return to your company in the evening.

Good to know

  • A valid identity card is required for each participant.
  • Departure and return times adapted to your company’s schedule; several pick-up points are possible.
  • Kayaking usually takes place from April to September, depending on the level of the Meuse (participants must be able to swim); bring a change of clothes.

Cancellation and refund protection

Optional, to be taken when booking: you can cancel without giving a reason and get the base price of the trip back, provided your request reaches us at least 48 hours before departure for a day trip, 7 days before if admission tickets are included, 14 days before for a trip with overnight stays. Price: 7 % of the trip up to €1,000, 5 % from €1,001 to €2,500, 3.5 % above.
