Three days between Rotterdam, its port and architecture, the Kinderdijk windmills and the Delta Works in Zeeland.
Rotterdam, Europe’s largest port, is the ideal city for an innovation-minded team: bold architecture, the Markthal, the Cube Houses and the Erasmus Bridge. A harbour cruise, the 19 UNESCO-listed windmills of Kinderdijk and the giant barriers of the Delta Works show how the Dutch tamed the water. An inspiring and friendly stay, perfect for a managers’ trip or a technical outing. Coach, activities, meals and hotel: we organise everything on a turnkey basis, from 20 participants, on the date of your choice, and adapt the programme to your budget and group size.
Programme
Day 1: Modern Rotterdam
- Coach departure from outside your company, at the agreed time.
- Drive to Rotterdam: our drivers drive for 3 hours at most, then take a 30-minute break.
- Arrival in Rotterdam and discovery of the centre: Markthal, Cube Houses and old harbour.
- Cruise in the port of Rotterdam.
- Check-in at the 3-star hotel (4-star on request).
- Team dinner in a city-centre restaurant (on request).
Day 2: Kinderdijk and Euromast
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Meeting room for a morning work session (on request).
- Drive to Kinderdijk and walk along the 19 UNESCO-listed windmills.
- Visit inside a windmill and of the visitor centre (on request).
- Return to Rotterdam and free time.
- Trip up the Euromast for the view of the city and port (on request).
- Team evening in a venue in the harbour district (on request).
Day 3: Delta Works and return
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Drive to Zeeland and the Eastern Scheldt storm surge barrier (Oosterscheldekering).
- Visit to the Neeltje Jans park dedicated to the Delta Works (on request).
- Return journey and arrival back at your company in the evening.
