Two days on the German Moselle: Christmas market in the cellars of Traben-Trarbach, team dinner, hotel night and Cochem.

This end-of-year trip to the German Moselle is a lovely way to reward a team or a staff committee. In Traben-Trarbach, the Christmas market is partly held in the town's old vaulted wine cellars, a unique atmosphere among craft stalls, Moselle wines and festive decorations. In the evening, a team dinner brings your staff together before a night at a hotel in the valley. The next day, Cochem reveals its half-timbered lanes and its Christmas market, at the foot of the Imperial Castle (Reichsburg) overlooking the river. We arrange the coach, hotel and bookings, and adapt the programme to your budget and group size.

Programme

Day 1: Journey to the Moselle and Traben-Trarbach

  • Departure from outside your company at the agreed time.
  • Journey by touring coach: our drivers drive for a maximum of 3 hours, then take a 30-minute break.
  • Arrival in the Moselle valley in the late morning.
  • Group lunch in a restaurant in the valley (on request)
  • Afternoon at the Traben-Trarbach Christmas market, in the streets and vaulted cellars of the town.
  • Check-in at a hotel in the Moselle valley.
  • Team dinner and friendly evening (on request)

Day 2: Cochem and return

  • Breakfast at the hotel, then journey to Cochem.
  • Walk through the old town and free time at the Christmas market.
  • Moselle wine tasting at a winery (on request)
  • Return journey in the afternoon.
  • Return to your company in the evening.

  • The Traben-Trarbach Christmas market is mainly open on Advent weekends: exact dates are to be checked each year; bring warm clothes and good shoes.

Cancellation and refund protection

Optional, to be taken when booking: you can cancel without giving a reason and get the base price of the trip back, provided your request reaches us at least 48 hours before departure for a day trip, 7 days before if admission tickets are included, 14 days before for a trip with overnight stays. Price: 7 % of the trip up to €1,000, 5 % from €1,001 to €2,500, 3.5 % above.
